A silver ring of substantial form featuring an oval bezel richly decorated in repoussé relief with dense scrolling vegetal and foliate motifs. The raised ornamentation covers the entire bezel surface, creating a textured, almost sculptural composition with a central swelling framed by symmetrical curling tendrils.

Rings of this type are associated with Sumatran silverwork traditions, particularly among communities where metal adornment played a role in expressing status, identity, and ceremonial affiliation. The use of repoussé technique—hammering the design from the reverse and refining it from the front—was widely practiced in the region and allowed for bold, volumetric decoration.
