Part of a jhumar used by Muslim brides is decorated with double - headed peacocks inset with rose-cut diamonds and mounted with seed pearls. The reverse shows very strong enamelling in red white and green. In the original form the piece would be mounted with rows of seed pearls and would hang from the hairline.
