This heavy necklace is cast in separate unites consisting of one closed oval link with a second oval link set at 90 degrees, cast onto its top. The center of the upper oval was either cast with an opening, or was chisel cut after casting s creating a split upper link.

Each terminal is formed as a makara that symbolizes aquatic fertility and regeneration. The trunks are looped to form the clasp.
